78. It is Good to be Here

1 We come once again our Redeemer to meet,
We turn from the world and its care;
To worship the King as we bow at His feet,
And seek for His blessing in prayer.

Refrain:
And now may His promise to us be fulfilled,
That He in our midst will appear;
And then we shall sing in the fullness of joy,
Praise the Lord, it is good to be here.

2 We come where so oft we have gathered before,
His blessed communion to share;
Our souls to refresh at the fountain of grace,
And seek His direction in prayer. [Refrain]

3 We come in His name, as He taught us to come,
Who knows every burden we bear;
Still resting our hope on the strength of His word,
We know He will answer our prayer. [Refrain]
