34. Praise Ye the Lord

1 Praise ye the Lord, the Rock of our salvation;
Praise ye His name and come before His throne;
Tell of His love with holy adoration
Praise the Lord, for He is God alone.

Refrain:
Praise ye the Lord, whose truth abideth ever,
Glorious and great are all His works and ways,
Praise ye the Lord, let all the people praise Him,
Praise the Lord, whose mercy crowns your days.

2 Praise ye the Lord, and in His temple kneeling;
Pour out your hearts in fervent, grateful prayer;
List to His voice in tender accents stealing,
Cast on Him your every weight of care. [Refrain]

3 Praise ye the Lord, and may your faith ascending;
Turn from the world to purer joys above;
O may His grace from every snare defending,
Keep your hearts in perfect peace and love. [Refrain]
