1 We are marching thro’ the world with our colors now unfurled,
And together we will sing the happy chorus;
While we hasten to the strife on the battle field of life,
With the Saviour’s royal banner floating o’er us.

Refrain:
We are marching, we are marching,
Ever joyful as we go;
And the song we gladly sing is of Christ our coming King,
While His royal banner still is waving o’er us.

2 We are marching onward still His commandments to fulfill;
And to labor for His kingdom—our endeavor;
Pressing onward at His call, we shall never, never fall;
But be victor’s thro’ our Leader now and ever. [Refrain]

3 We are marching day by day, in the strait and narrow way;
Telling out the joyful tidings of salvation;
This the message we proclaim in our blest Redeemer’s name,
“There is pardon full and free for every nation.” [Refrain]
