LXXVIII. Father of Heav'n, we Thee address

1 Father of Heav'n, we Thee address
(Obedience is our View)
Accept us in thy Son; and Bless
The Work we have to do.

2 Jesus, as Water well applied
Will make the Body clean;
So in the Fountain of thy Side
Wash Thou the Soul from Sin.

3 Celestial Dove, descend from High,
And on the Water brood;
And with thy quick'ning Pow'r apply
The Water and the Blood.

4 Great God, Three-One, again we call,
And our Requests renew,
Accept in Christ; and bless withal
The Work we've now to do.
