In loud and happy chorus,
We praise Thy love and pow'r,
Whose goodness reigneth o'er us!
To heav'n our song shall soar,
For ever shall it be
Resounding o'er and o'er;

For Thou our land defendest,
Thou pourest down Thy grace,
And strife and war Thou endest;
Since golden Peace, O Lord,
