Tune: | [Let us sing the sweet song of that beautiful home] |
Composer: | Frank L. Armstrong |
1 Let us sing the sweet song of that beautiful home,
Of the home far away with the Master;
Where no storms e’er assail, where no tempests prevail,
And no perils bring grief and disaster.
Refrain:
Far away from this vale ‘midst the angels above,
With the saints of the Lord to be singing;
I shall rest with the Lord, there to hear His sweet word,
And glad tokens of praise I’ll be bringing.
2 There my soul in that home with the ransomed shall dwell,
In unchangeable love ere abiding;
There to shine like the stars in their brilliancy bright,
In the bosom of Christ be residing. [Refrain]
3 O this home is for all who will serve the dear Lord,
Sinner, come to Him now all confessing;
O how sweet is the rest of the happy and blest,
And to all who His love are possessing. [Refrain]
