1 Once again with delight we gather,
In the dear Sabbath home that we love;
And we list to the words so precious,
From the lips of our Saviour above.

How they shine along our way,
Like a lamp, bright and clear,
When our hearts their truth obey.

2 Once again with delight we gather,

And we read in the Holy Bible

Happy songs of devotion we sing;
Still we think of the words so precious,
And the joy and the comfort they bring. [Refrain]

On our faithful instructors to fall;
