1 I’m leaning on the arm of God,
I see my Saviour’s face;
I’m cleansed in his atoning blood,
I know the perfect peace.

2 No longer mighty passions sweep
Like tempests o’er my soul,
I’ve now that heav’nly power within

3 I trust my God; he gives me grace
In every trying hour;
He helps me run my earthly race,
And holds me by his power. [Refrain]

4 Tis joy to trust him,—joy to know
My sins are washed away,
To grasp the prize love doth bestow,—
The dawn of heaven’s bright day. [Refrain]
